The Shotover Canyon Swing is the World's highest swing at 109 metres (360 feet) above the ground. Based in the superb adventure playground of Queenstown, New Zealand, this is one adrenaline rush you will not forget in a hurry.

Jump or be released from their purpose built cliff mounted platform, then freefall 60m into the canyon until the ropes smoothly pendulum you in a giant arc at 150kph. Once you have come to rest you are winched back up to the platform. Your second swing is just a fraction of the price and 80% of people swing again!

The Shotover Canyon Swing is located 2km upstream from Shotover Jet's Arthur's Point base. You are picked up from I.T.C and driven through private land to our car park (10 minute drive). There is no public access to the swing site.

Anyone over the age of 10 can jump but parental consent is required for clients under the age of 18. They have a maximum weight limit of 135kgs.

The whole trip takes a maximum of 2.5 hours and you will be drop back into town. Shotover Canyon Swing trips depart daily rain hail or shine from the Info and Track Centre (ITC) on 37 Shotover Street at the following times:

8:30am* , 9:30am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm , 3:00pm, 4:30pm , and 5:30pm*

* These trips are not available during the shorter winter months.
