Cathedral Cove Classic (half day)
Their speciality tour - due to the overwhelming popularity and feedback. Run from Hahei, every inch of this volcanic coast is stunning. Paddle through amazing sea caves, explore offshore islands, snorkel the marine reserve & enjoy a cappuccino at their exclusive Cathedral Cove Beachfront Café.

Remote Coast Tour (half day)
When conditions & tides allow, you have the option of paddling spectacular volcanic remains rarely seen by other travellers. Littered with caves, tunnels & blowholes, we are amazed every time we kayak this stretch of coast... you will be too.

Sunset Tour (half day)
This trip takes in the atmosphere of the long summer evenings in the best possible way. Enjoy the scenery, calm seas and often spectacular sunsets that prevail during these hours. Relax and enjoy a freshly ground latte or cappuccino at their beach-style café before leisurely paddling home with the setting sun. Life feels good as we drift along at this magic hour.

BIG DAY IN THE BAY (full day tour)
For the more adventurous folks out therethey have designed an unforgettable full day trip exploring the beaches, islands & caves that Mercury Bay is famous for. When conditions allow, this trip explores the grand volcanic coast seen on the Cathedral Cove & Remote Coast tours and much more... Be prepared for a great day exploring magnificent coastline, islands and caves. Discover the underwater world snorkelling the Marine reserve and try kayak sailing with the wind on your back. You will enjoy a delicious country style lunch on the beach and cappuccinos in the afternoon sun.

Cathedral Cove Sea Kayaking trips cover the most spectacular stretch of coast on the Coromandel Peninsula, if not New Zealand. Kayaking is backpacking on the sea. No rush, no noise, just you and nature at its best.

Cathedral Cove Sea Kayaking run daily tours from October to May, trips are run on demand at other times.

Trips depart Hahei Beach in front of the main car park. Pick up & Drop off from Whitianga Ferry available on request.

No kayaking experience is necessary. Paddle stable, double sea kayaks and their qualified guides will give you full instructions and assistance.
