The Lord of the Rings was filmed on The Deer Park for 6 weeks in the autumn of 2001, incorporating the fabulous elevated panoramas from the top of The Deer Park and the stunning Remarkables mountain ranges. Walk through the spectacular backdrops of Middle Earth used in all three Lord of the Rings movies. See where Gandalf rode towards Gondor, where the refugees escaped from Rohan, where the attack of the Wargs (wolves) occurred and where Eowyn provided Aragorn with his tasty stew.
