Manganui Ski Field is a unique North Island mountain experience, located in the Egmont National Park on the slopes of Mt Taranaki. It is run on a volunteer basis with Club members expected to pitch in on autumn maintenance working bees and to assist with operating the field during the winter.

The Pembroke Road turnoff is just south of Stratford on Highway 3. Pembroke Road is sealed and travels through Beach Forest for 18km to the to Stratford Plateau car park. From there there is a 20 minute walk to the skifield, with a goods lift five minutes along the way.

The T-Bar accessed lower slopes are open and gentle. This is in contrast with the nutcracker accessed upper slopes which are steeper. As with most New Zealand terrain the slopes are open and treeless. Snow ratings are 5% beginner, 30% intermediate and 65% advanced.

Manganui Ski Field is a 45 minute drive from New Plymouth and just 15 minutes from Stratford.
