Take control of your quad bike and enjoy a real kiwi experience exploring our 1400 acre working sheep and beef farm, with McLeod's Quad Adventures. Follow our qualified and experienced guides on an adventure of a lifetime.

No experience necessary – a sense of humour essential!!

We look forward to riding with you and showing you views over magnificent hillcountry farmland, splashing through the Ruakokopatuna and Makara rivers, and pausing to take in the stunning views and get up close to the sheep and cattle. With 20 quads available, we can cater for one to a crowd. Full training is given, and no licence is necessary.

On arrival you will be greeted, and offered the option of using our wet weather gear (leggings, jacket and gumboots) if you wish. We also provide goggles and gloves if necessary and helmets are mandatory. In summer, shorts and tennis shoes are OK.

Your guide will take you through everything you need to know to safely operate your quad and allow you some practice time before heading off on your tour. Even if you are a bit nervous or have never done anything like this before – don’t worry, we’ll take care of you. All our Guides are NZQA Qualified ATV Guides.

Tours depart at 10:00am and 2:00pm daily, however we can always work around your timeframe, and is a year-round, all weather activity.

Bookings are essential.

  I was lucky enough to be in NZ from London, England for my birthday on 31st December 2006. My good buddy Steve arranged for our families to go quad biking at McLeod's and Lachie Mcleod kindly opened especially for the day. We all had a terrific time and I wholeheartedly recommend the experience. It was fun, well organized and Lachie is an excellent host. If the opportunity arises, take it and have a great day out on beautiful land.
