Full Farm Tour
You will be amongst large flocks of sheep, be up close with deer - with a chance to touch them.
You will be able to view a milking shed where cows are milked, 600 of them! Perhaps a short ride on a friendly horse, or feed the pet lambs.
Throughout your visit you will have wonderful photo opportunities. You will be involved with a farming operation carrying 5000 sheep on our 1000 acre farm. Heading dog 'Perk' will demonstrate his ability to move sheep from one part of the farm to another. At the woolshed, 'Perk' will muster a mob into the woolshed.
Backing dog 'Dan' will help to separate some sheep for shearing. As a visitor you will be involved, hands on with moving the mobs of sheep. A commentary on shearing follows then visitors are invited to have a go at shearing. Plenty more photo opportunities. You may take away samples of wool, touch a sheep, walk amongst the sheep and feel the wool.
Other seasonal activities are available and can be included in every trip.
Tour takes about 2 hours, but they can arrange a time that suits your travel plans.
Protective clothing is available (gumboots coats etc).
