Just past the the northern tip of Coromandel Peninsula on a 2000 acre farm lies the D.O.C (Department of Conservation) Fletcher Bay recreation reserve. Fletcher Bay is a quiet sheltered bay facing north north east towards Square top Island close by and Great Barrier Island in the distance.
The backpackers accommodation at Fletchers Bay consists of 4 bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each, giving a total of 16 beds available. The bottom sheet and pillow is provided, you just need your sleeping bag or own linen.
