Footprints Lodge is located in a large and spacious 2 storey building in Tahunanui. Tahunanui is a part of the picturesque city of Nelson (an easy flat 4 km walk along some stunning coastal scenery). More importantly, Footprints is just a relaxing 2 minute stroll from the beautiful sandy Tahunanui beach where you are able to enjoy Nature Land Zoological Park, Bumper Boats, Hydro-slide, Indy 500, Mini Golf and a whole lot more. Tahunanui beach is a great safe swimming beach. We overlook a stunning 30 acres of parks, gardens and natural walkways.

A spacious, clean and modern home away from home for weary travellers to rest, we also endeavoured to capture the pure essence of home, the spirit, the feel and the soul that go into making your own abode such a restful place. We recognise that you like your own individual space and area, we also realise that there are times when you want to share your journey experiences and travel tales, that's why we designed Footprints to be as private or as social as you want.

Footprints is now able to offer you the choice between our new self contained apartment or share the facilities and fun in the lodge.
