Since opening in April 1997, the establishment has built a reputation for providing an authentic slice of Greece – food, wine, décor, music, atmosphere, entertainment, hospitality - the typical, happy nature of a Greek Taverna. Our philosophy is simple – to provide an unsurpassed total Greek Taverna experience, by whisking our guests away to a Taverna in the Greek Islands the instant they walk in the door, so they sample the well-known Greek concepts of philoxenia (hospitality), diaskedasi (entertainment), and kefi (good humour and fun).

We are a family-owned and operated establishment, with staff who feel they are a part of our extended family. So when you join us at Kosmos Greek Taverna, you are being welcomed, as our guests, into our own home. Join us, under the grapevines in our warm, covered courtyard. With flickering candlelight, the rich sound of the bouzouki, and the seductive aroma of souvlaki fresh off the grill, you will find yourself in another magic world of Kosmos Greek Taverna…

Functions are our specialty. We have over eight years’ experience in ensuring our guests have fun, whether mid-week conference dinners, work groups, business dinners, social club functions, personal celebrations or even cocktail functions.

We cater for all occasions including corporate, industry functions and political and cultural functions. We also host weddings, school fundraising dinners and our premises can be hired out exclusively for your use. With a seated capacity of close to 140, we can cater for both large or intimate group functions.

We have a range of three year-round set (banquet) menus from which a menu can be tailored to meet your exact needs, as well as three special Christmas menus.

We can also provide nibbles and finger food for cocktail functions.
